Integration Projects
My approach capitalizes on my background in world languages, the humanities, and computer science; I have a knack for viewing things contextually and inter-disciplinarily, and weaving together a rich story that seamlessly integrates technology with learning goals in unique ways.

Modernizing Antiquity
Inspired by Jie Qi's Pu Gong Ying Tu (Dandelion Painting), this was an interdisciplinary look at Greek mythology through the lens of Social Studies, Art, Drama, Science and STEAM.

Restitching the American Quilt
An interdisciplinary 4th grade Social Studies and STEAM project in which students research and write persuasive essays on current political issues. Inspired by the use of quilting in Jacqueline Woodson's Show Way to share stories and identity, students design their own patch to visually represent their arguments.

Mesopotamian-Inspired
Cylinder Seals
An interdisciplinary 5th Grade STEAM and Social Studies unit which tasked students with creating modern-day cylinder seals based on artifacts from ancient Mesopotamia.

3D-Printed Nightlights
To practice human centered design, 6th Grade students use design thinking and CAD software to create functional nightlight prototypes for their kindergarten buddies.
